Inversion

What is an inversion? In general, an "inversion" is a changed order of things. If X usually comes before Y, the inverted order will be Y first, then X. When looking at the grammar of the English language we see inversions for instance in the normal order of the subject and the verb in a sentence. To explain what an inversion is in English, first think of a simple sentence like: "Graffiti is ugly." In sentences like this the subject (graffiti) must come before the verb (is). This is the normal order. The most common example of the inverted order of the subject and the verb is seen in questions such as: "Is graffiti ugly?" The English language often uses this kind of inversion to make a question, but this is not the only time that the normal order of the subject and the verb in a sentence is inverted.

My tool Loose Leaves

Loose Leaves is an interesting program for me as it is really useful especially when people do not have a blog or do not have enough space for uploading text, images or videos. For those reasons, I believe this program is really important. Also, it is similar to Block de Notas. Some of the advantages of using this program are:

1.     It is easy to use
2.     You don’t need to be register
3.     People can upload pictures, text and videos without limitations.
4.     You can share the link on Facebook, tweeter or in a blog.
5.     If you want to edit it you just click on the lick that it is sent to your e-mail.

However, this program has disadvantages:

1.     Everything is online
2.     It is not interactive.

In sum, I can say that this tool can be used in teaching English when we want students to participate doing a research about a certain topic. So, in this care I would tell them that after looking for the information, they have to write a summary about it. Also, they could add videos or links related to their research. I do like this tool because it can be use especially for beginners. And something to take into consideration is that this tool is for thoughts that do not have home.
