Becoming a teacher is a difficult task as we have to look for new ways to maintain our students quiet or calm. Moreover, to do this we have to handle first with discipline as it is one of the most important factors that affect students´ behaviors. For that reason, there are some strategies that can help teachers to control students’ behaviors. For example in one my class teaching little kids I had that problem and I was frustrated because my students never paid attention to me, and they were always standing up, talking and doing all they wanted so that I invented a new strategy for them. I told them that I was going to check the way they behave during the whole class and if they do all the activities without acting mad I was going to give them a star. Some of them didn´t pay attention to me, but some other did it. So at the end of the class I gave to some of my Ss the star and the rest was angry because they didn´t win it.
i really agrre when you say that becoming a teacher is a difficult part, and also is a big challenge because everyday we have to be dealing with students' behavior in the classroom.
ResponderEliminarWe as teachers have thje capacity to control all our students' discipline. I think that the most important thing we have to do is to ask them respect, also tell them the rules.
What you have mentioned kenia is true. When you mention disscipline I agree with because this is something that teachers have to know how to control it if not they are going to have a big problem in the classroom.
ResponderEliminarIt is true that teachers have to look for different activities to control student's behavior, but that is a big job for them but anyway that is the teacher's role.
Hello kenia, I really like the example that you provide and I think teaching children is really difficult because they are really hyperactive and as you metioned they are always standing up, making mess, or figthing one to another. So, the teacher must know that with children they have to change the activity at least every ten minutes because if not they got really bored, and they start to make mess. I think that teachers that are beginners cannot find the solutions at the first moment, but it is a matter to teach discipline and the class and to create a good communication with your students
